Caught on Tape

In my last post I said I wasn't pulling myself up yet, well..... now I am!!! See how fast I learn! I was helping Daddy do some packing when I decided to give it a try. Mommy was taping me playing in the bin and caught it all on tape. She got a little excited and had to shut off the camera! I make it look really easy. Here are a couple videos of me pulling myself up.

Standing

Check out this video of me standing in my crib. Don't let me fool you, I still don't pull myself up. Mommy sometimes helps me get up, but I hang on tight to keep myself up. Don't let my cough fool you either, it's FAKE! My fake cough is back and I'm into making all sorts of funny faces these days. Thanks cousins Paul and Ellie for letting me use your crib while mine is in storage. I'll be sleeping in my OWN bed, in my OWN house in less than a week!!!!!!! For those of you that are worried, my mattress will me lowered!

Love My Greats!

I am so blessed to not only have 2 grandmas and 2 grandpas, but 4 GREAT grandmas and 2 GREAT grandpas as well! I love spending time with them and making them laugh. I got to see most of them for Christmas. I missed the Lindgrens who are down in Arizona for the winter. I love you all and miss you when I'm not with you!

Indoor Park

I went to an indoor park with my pal Avery on Saturday. We had so much fun! There were a bunch of kids there. I had the most fun watching everyone run around and scream. Since I'm not walking, or even crawling, Mommy and Daddy carried me around, took me down slides, through tunnels, over and under cushion walls and more. They even let me stand all by myself holding onto the rope walls. This was my favorite! I looked like such a big boy. It was a little hard for my parents to maneuver around all the kids and in & out of tunnels, especially my tall Daddy. Thanks, Dad for having so much fun with me! I think Mommy and Daddy had just as much fun as I did! We were ALL ready for a nap after a morning of playing and lunch at Don Pablo's!

Blueberry MESS!

I am trying new foods all the time. One of my new favorites is blueberries. They are so yummy and they make a great big mess! Mommy wasn't thinking and put my white Sioux Hockey bib on me while I was eating them for the first time. Silly Mommy, that bib is ruined now! Last time I ate them, I went to patty-cake when Daddy was feeding them to me (Don't worry Jenny, they just went all over me and my little chair). That made an even bigger mess and a decision to only give me fresh blueberries as finger food instead of frozen ones blended up. Here is a video and some pictures of me eating blueberries.

9 Month Photo Shoot

I was 9 months old a week ago and apparently mommy hasn't taken enough pictures of me. We had a little photo shoot today. I didn't have many smiles in me. I was too interested in my bottom lip! Here are just a few of the almost 200 pictures she took.

My Half Grill

I've had 2 teeth for quite awhile, but they have never really shown up in pictures. Now they are big enough to stick out! Check them out!!!

GO SIOUX!

Can you believe it..........I went to my first Sioux hockey game and Mommy didn't take ONE picture!?!?!?!? What's up with that? This wasn't just any Sioux game either. They played the Gophers and WON BOTH NIGHTS!!!! (For those of you who don't know, the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux and the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey game is A BIG DEAL!) I only went on Friday night and I loved it. I usually go to bed between 8 and 8:30, but I was wide awake for the whole game and didn't go to bed until 11!! I saw lots of Mommy and Daddy's friends, many for the first time. I hope to get back to another game soon. If not, I am hoping that the Sioux make the Final Five in Minneapolis because Grandma and Grandpa got us tickets to go with them. YIPPEEEEEEEEE! Here are some pictures of me sporting my Sioux shirt. I'm sure you'll notice all my funny faces, it's kinda my new thing!

A Glimps of Christmas

I had a great first Christmas. I have so much family, that I got to have Christmas for 4 days! I had a ball seeing all sorts of family. I was such a good boy meeting new people and seeing people I haven't seen for a long time. One of my favorite things about this Christmas was seeing my puppy, Stella. Grandma and grandpa surprised us by bringing her to Fargo. Stella has been staying with them in Missoula, Montana while our house is being built. It was sooooooooooooo fun seeing her. I love her so much and can't wait for her to live with me again. (Grandpa Scott says he's going to have a hard time letting her go because she is such a good girl!) I also had fun opening presents, playing with new toys, staying up way past my bed time, being the life of the party, and cuddling with family. I kinda wish everyday was Christmas, but I guess I'll just have to wait until next year. I'll be sure to enjoy more of the yummy food next year! Watch out Grandma Mary Ann's home-made ravioli............there's bound to be yet another fan!!!!! Thanks to everyone for making my first Christmas memorable.
